SO - after 22-years the FINAL ‘normal’ computer bus visit before next week’s send-off began with Year 3 using Apple’ Pages to create original Lion King posters for the forthcoming school production.
Earlier in the week, Year 1 had finished their bus work off in school and produced these (TOP LEFT) photographed in school complete with lettering added by the children.
Obviously, the Year 3 posters would be even better - as can be seen by the screen images reproduced here. Remember viewers - these are original images NOT CLIP ART. For example the sophisticated realistic rhino (BELOW LEFT) has been created from a blank page using edited shapes. The more cartoonish meerkats, elephants and warthog are similarly made from a blank page. Even the lettering is original having been created using two empty text blocks with the appropriate Times typeface altered and arrange to make a faithful Lion King logo.
The final class was Mr Allan-Snell’s Year 4 who started their SketchUp 3D modelling journey in the time-honoured fashion by drawing a manx cottage. Great work - which can be seen further down this page.
Next week - THE END...
