St.Johns School 1/1

A FINAL visit to St.John’s School today saw Mr Douglas’s Year 2/3 build on their work from the summer, creating original pictures using Apple’s Pages program, this time showing rainforest animals.

These toucans, pumas, and a gorilla are so good they will look like they’ve been downloaded from the internet. They have not - though they are based on clipart images.

The first visit of the bus to St.Johns was back in November 1998 - and this final one was a fitting tribute - thank you teachers - thank you children.

Also another big thank you for the generous gift and accompanying card! All in all an excellent end to the last ‘normal’ bus visit ever. After half term it’s the final run of send-off trips at Sulby...

How about this (LEFT) as a piece of original artwork from Year 2? St.John’s School Seren made this toucan from basic shapes in Apple ‘Pages’ and edited them to make this excellent illustration here...
