YEAR 1 were starting out their journey to become expert computer users today, getting to grips with Apple’s Pages (Page Layout) to create pictures of castles and animals.
Along the way they learned how to save time by duplicating shapes using ‘alt+drag’, and ‘cmd+z’ to undo any mistakes.
They also found out that you can drag and drop files from one place to another - in this example a Manx flag and a soldier dragged from the Desktop to their work.
Finally, they also found out how to ‘double-click’ a file to open it. On the touch screen devices they are used to at home you simply dab what you want with the end of your finger.
Well done Year 1 and good luck !
