Meanwhile Year 2 worked with Photobooth, Photoshop Elements and Apple Pages to make Andy Warhol-style portraits of themselves...
Photobooth was used with the built-in Eyesight cameras to capture their image, this was dragged to Photoshop Elements where filters were applied.
After selecting all and copying (using keyboard shortcuts of course) each altered image was pasted onto a page layout blank in Pages... The curser keys used to check the alignment exactly!
Finally, after school, Onchan staff met to look at the splendid Apple Numbers spreadsheet, considering the genesis of the spreadsheet, and then looking at some of the easy-to-use features of iWork’s first attempt at a serious spreadsheet application.
Result? A round of applause!
Tomorrow - Onchan again with Egyptian pyramids and Sketchup/Photoshop, then story telling through animation - and then a major Twilight inset at Albert Road!

Year 3 were looking at FAIRTRADE and used Safari and Comic Life to put together a page about how they intend to use ICT to research the project - using First Class email for example to contact retailers, charity organisations, teachers and suppliers about their views on FAIRTRADE goods...
