MANX Telecomputer Bus hit the TV screens on July 26th, in a Border TV report by Joanne Green.

The feature was recorded the previous week outside Dhoon School and included interviews with Alex Townsend, Head Teacher Fran McClean, and Manx Telecom Managing Director Mr Chris Hall.

The report began with the bus arriving outside Dhoon school, which was chosen because of its picturesque and relatively iso- lated location. Youngsters were shown boarding the bus, to take up position behind the computers.

Several youngsters were also interviewed for the piece, and they volunteered praise for the Bus and the work done on it!

Chris Hall was shown in his office, where he explained Manx Telecom’s involvement with the bus, and how its sponsorship has helped the Island’s young people.
